TVG Drops Quarter Horse Moniker, Adds Free Wagering, Free Video

The people have spoken and TVG has listened. Commencing April 1, TVG will drop their 25 cents per wager charge for customers and offer free wagering.

TVG had charged the fee (refunded to everyone who wagered a certain amount each month but a thorn in the side of recreational and part-time players) since its launch in July 1999.

Also effective April 1, the horse racing and wagering firm announced that customers will receive 10 hours of free video streaming per month. If players bet a certain amount or keep a balance at TVG, they will earn even more free video time.

"We are excited to be offering wagering and video streaming free of charge to all our customers," said Don Scott, vice president of marketing at TVG. "Moving to a free pricing structure is in direct response to customer sentiment."

A subsidiary of global gambling giant Betfair Group plc, TVG is one of the largest legal online gaming companies in the U.S., taking in more than $650 million in bets in 2011, according to a company release.

USRacebook.com is proud to be affiliated with TVG as it grows into one of the industry’s top online horse betting sites.
